VIBRANT HAWAIʻI
An abundant reservoir of human, social, natural, and financial capital
that we contribute to and draw upon.

2021 IMPACT REPORT

Inspired by the mele, "Kū mākou e hele me kuʻu mau pōkiʻi aloha" that recounts Pele's migration, our 2021 Impact Report: Kau Ka Hōkū Hoʻokahi, Hele I Ke Ala Loa documents our shared journey toward our common vision of a vibrant Hawaiʻi.
In 2021, over 1,400 individuals contributed human, social, cultural, and financial capital toward collective impact initiatives to shift indicators in economy, education, health and wellbeing, housing, and community resilience.
We invite you to join us in celebration and deep gratitude for each person who engaged and committed to shifting deficit narrative, restoring dignity, and guiding our community toward our vision of a thriving, resilient, and vibrant future.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Collaborate across sectors to promote, incubate, and scale culturally inclusive health and wellbeing practices.

HOUSING COALITION
Decrease the shelter burden on Hawaiʻi Island residents through a spectrum of housing options.

OUR KULEANA
We convene conversations so that all waʻa can travel toward a common goal,
build community awareness, will, and action from the foundation of our shared values,
shift deficit narratives, systems, and policy that perpetuate poverty and inequity, and
implement strategies that are developed and resourced by the community and reflect native intelligence.
