Kona Low Disaster Case Management

Households receiving a text message or email from Vibrant Hawaiʻi will be asked to complete a short survey indicating whether they:

Still need assistance and would like to participate in disaster case management;

OR

 No longer need assistance and would like their case to be closed.

Vibrant Hawaiʻi asks recipients to respond promptly to the text message sent from 1(808) 900-0256 or email sent from contact@vibranthawaii.org so that staff can prioritize households that continue to need support.

Refer back to text/email for a survey link.

Households should verify that any communication they receive comes from Vibrant Hawaiʻi before sharing personal information.

**Disaster case management helps households identify unmet needs, understand available resources, develop a recovery plan, and connect with government, nonprofit, and community-based assistance. Participation is voluntary, and receiving disaster case management does not guarantee financial assistance or eligibility for a particular program.**

Residential Damage Assessment - Self Reporting Tool

The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Emergency Management has developed this online form to enable Oahu residents to self-report damage to their homes from the recent disaster. The purpose of this form is only to collect information that will help local officials understand the damage that occurred and impacts on the community. The City will also use this information to determine whether the City can request federal assistance programs.

Needs Assessment Form

Hawaiian Council is conducting a coordinated needs assessment to identify and quantify the impacts of the March 2026 storms across affected communities. This data driven approach will help guide how resources are prioritized and deployed.

If you live on Oʻahu and were significantly impacted by the floods and weather events beginning in March 2026, we encourage you to complete the Needs Assessment. Your response will help Hawaiian Council better understand community needs and identify those who have been affected.

This information will support a more coordinated and effective relief effort. Participation in the Needs Assessment is completely voluntary.
