Kōkua Food Drive

Join the State of Hawai‘i's weeklong food drive in partnership with the Hawai‘i State Public Library System to support food banks across Hawai‘i.

Hawai‘i Relief Program
(TANF Support for Housing and Utility Payments)

Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, in partnership with the State of Hawai‘i’s Department of Human Services, is offering housing assistance to eligible applicants experiencing financial hardship. This program is for households with dependent children or someone in their third trimester of pregnancy.

FEEA: Shutdown Grant Application

Shutdown grants are available to full-time federal employees who are either furloughed or working in an excepted status, and whose current federal salary is $59,999 or less, including locality pay ($75,000 or less for active employee NARFE members).

Ho'āmana Homeowner Assistnce Program

In order to promote housing stability and prevent lease cancellation, Hawai‘i Community Lending (HCL) provides financial assistance in the State of Hawai‘i to lessees who reside on Hawaiian Home Lands.

Bank of Hawaii: Personal Loan Program

Designed to provide temporary cash relief for emergency needs and living essentials.

Identifying interested volunteers who can assist with distribution and/or transportation of good in regions islandwide.

The Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

WIC provides healthy food, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other helpful services to pregnant individuals, new moms, infants, and kids under 5. Dads, grandparents, and other caregivers can apply for WIC for children in their care.

Emergency Relief for Native Hawaiian Families Amid Federal Shutdown

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) is committing $6.1 million in emergency relief funds to provide immediate, one-time financial assistance to Native Hawaiian beneficiaries affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown.

Hawai'i State Federal Credit Union: Emergency Assistance Loan

Access emergency funding up to $2,500 with no payments required for the first three months and no prepayment penalty for qualifying members.

Hawaiian Electric: Utility Payment Assistance

Hawaiian Electric understands that customers may be experiencing financial hardship and is offering the following interest-free monthly installment plans for a limited time. For all options, late fees are waived.

Bank of Hawai'i: Loan Forbearance Program

Offers up to 3 months of forbearance on residential mortgages and home equity loans/lines. Waives late fees accrued during forbearance period.
