This new website (invest.hawaii.gov/remote) provides residents with direct links to partners of the Hawaii Remote Work Pilot Project and the local American Job Center (AJC). Registering on this site sends an automated message that notifies the AJC that Hawaii residents are interested in remote work opportunities in their county of residence.

ʻOhana Coaches for Substance Abuse Support
The Ohana Coaching Program, developed through the Hawaii Opioid Initiative, is a peer to peer support program that uses trained coaches who have experienced loved ones with substance use issues and are available to provide support and resources to other families.
Savings on Health Insurance Coverage Available for Hawaii’s Unemployed
The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Insurance Division is encouraging Hawaii residents who have lost their jobs to visit HealthCare.gov to see if they qualify for new financial help as part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP). Individuals may qualify if they receive or are eligible to receive unemployment income for at least one week in 2021.
