A digital badge is a secure online certificate that verifies learning achieved or skills gained.

HOW IS A BADGE VALUABLE TO MY ORGANIZATION?

Quickly see potential employee skills, experience, and examples of work in an easy to navigate digital format.

HOW DO I BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR AND OFFER A BADGE?

Please email papa@vibranthawaii.org to submit your coursework on the PAPA platform and design the digital badge.

CAN I PARTNER WITH VIBRANT HAWAIʻI TO AWARD A BADGE FOR A LIVE WORKSHOP?

Yes! We will need a few details to get started, like your course name, short description, and learning outcomes. Of course, we walk you through each step of the way. Email us at papa@vibranthawaii.org to get started.

WHY IS VIBRANT HAWAIʻI OFFERING DIGITAL BADGES?

Vibrant Hawaiʻi values accessible, lifelong learning that supports our community's ability to care for each other to build a strong, resilient, and vibrant Hawaiʻi. Badge earners can opt-in to share their achievements on our website - and contribute to a Hawaiʻi Island resource map of skills and abilities that connects community members to each other.

HOW DO I EARN A BADGE?

Badges are awarded for training completed both in person and online through Vibrant Hawaiʻi's Passion and Purpose Academy (PAPA).

Your badge will live forever in your Vibrant Hawaiʻi badging network accessible with your email. You can earn badges from many different sources. All badges will be stored in your digital backpack.
