Meet Our New Ambassadors

We are thrilled to introduce our newest Ambassadors, Nyka-Rae Laeda and Hemi Martinez, to the Vibrant Hawaiʻi ʻohana. The Vibrant Hawaiʻi Ambassador role is an exciting, entry-level opportunity tailored for passionate, community-oriented individuals eager to gain leadership experience and make a meaningful impact. As Ambassadors, they will play a key role in representing Vibrant Hawaiʻi in the community, fostering youth engagement, and supporting critical organizational initiatives.

Our Ambassadors will also contribute to the efforts of ʻOAKA: ʻŌpio Alliance for Kuleana Advancement, reinforcing our commitment to the initiative "for youth, by youth."

Nyka-Rae Laeda, from Puna, is a firm believer in the power of self-confidence and leveraging your talents to reach your goals. As the owner and designer of Kaleinani & Co., she has transformed her passion into a growing business. Nyka-Rae is now eager to share her journey and inspire others through her role in the Vibrant Hawaiʻi Ambassador Program.

Hemi Martinez, from Honokaʻa, has a deep-rooted love for her culture and a commitment to giving back to her community. Raised with a strong sense of responsibility, Hemi is driven to make a positive impact wherever possible. As she puts it, "Serving the community is an ongoing journey of self-growth, constantly learning how to make a greater impact and better support those around us."
