When emergencies happen, our communities don’t wait—they respond. The question is: are we ready?
The Vibrant Hawaiʻi Resilience Conference is a two-day, in-person training designed to ensure that when the next disaster impacts our island, more people are equipped with the skills, coordination, and confidence to take action.
Community leaders, volunteers, health professionals, nonprofit teams, faith-based organizations, and business partners will come together to prepare—not in theory, but through real-world practice.

This conference is intentionally hands-on, grounded in the realities our communities face in the hours, days, and months following an emergency. Participants will build practical skills in communication, coordination, and decision-making—so they can step into clear roles and support their neighbors when it matters most.
Attendees will choose one focused training track and complete a six-session learning experience designed to build skills progressively. Whether supporting medical response and first aid, providing mental health and emotional care, coordinating volunteers and donations, operating shelters, navigating long-term recovery, or ensuring food access during disruptions, each track prepares participants to respond with clarity and care in real situations.
This work reflects our shared kuleana to care for one another—ensuring every community has people ready to act with coordination and aloha.
Early-bird registration is open through April 30, with limited space available. Regular registration continues through May, with final registration closing June 11.
If you’ve ever asked how you can better support your community in times of crisis, this is your opportunity to step into that role.
Register today and be part of a network prepared to respond together.
